The problems faced by residents on one of Tottenham’s hard-pressed council housing estates is being featured in a TV documentary series for Channel 4.
“…film maker Ed Stafford moves into some of the UK’s most troubled residential estates for sixty days and nights, to look beyond the headlines and experience the daily hardships that people face”.
In the first programme, Stafford stayed with the locals on the Northumberland Park estate, a world away from the shiny Tottenham Hotspur stadium nearby. A thought-provoking programme which should attract the attention of the local community. Will the expose of the conditions that local residents are forced to live under finally jolt Haringey Council into taking action into dealing with the estate’s problems?
The programme is on Channel 4 tonight (28th May) at 9.00pm.
