Newlon Housing Trust is holding a two-day public consultation on plans to build up to 54 flats in three blocks in the affected area. That would mean changes in the layout of Fairbanks Road itself, and the wall which currently separates the neighbouring Chesnut Estate and Monument Way will be knocked down to be replaced by what the organisers are saying a buffer zone.
Residents in the affected area should have received the leaflet with brief details of the plans.
The consultation will take place on both Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March at The Larder Cafe, Protheroe House, 6 Chesnut Road N17. It will run on both days between 4pm and 7pm.
